Youth 20 (Y20) is an official consultation forum for youth from all G20 member countries to be able to dialogue with each other. Y20 encourages youth as future leaders to raise awareness of global issues, exchange ideas, argue, negotiate, and reach consensus.
India's G20 presidency is a historic and so as the largest democracy the essence of its chairmanship should be public participation. Y20 chaupal is an initiative by the Y20 secretariat, New Delhi It aims to encourage constructive discourse on the agendas of G20 & Y20 at the grassroots.
Gujarat's first Y20 chaupal was organised by Bhavya Bharat Foundation in association with Y20 secretariat at the district sports complex on Waghodiya road in Vadodara on 28th February 2023. Encouraging the youth, the founder of Bhavya Bharat Foundation Rangam Trivedi emphasised youth leadership in his interaction. He said, "New India's G20 presidency encourages us to take lead to contribute in its journey to Amrit Kaal and to realise the idea of India for the global betterment." He further added, "It is the youth which can be a driving force for the same of new India under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji."
On this occasion, Convener of GSYB Shri Kaushal Dave, District youth development officer Shri Ketul Maheriya, District Sports Development Officer Ms. Krishna Pandya, National convener of Y20 Mr. Ajay Kashyap, Y20 track chair Mr. Devansh Shah, Mr. Arpan Bhatt, Mr. Rukmil Shah and Mr. Tirth Shah from team Bhavya Bharat Foundation were present.
