Amrit Kaal Odyssey” and “Bharat Ka Amrit Kaal” Unveiled at Nirma University by Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw



On March 12, 2024, Rangam Trivedi’s highly anticipated book, “Amrit Kaal Odyssey,” and its Hindi translation, “Bharat Ka Amrit Kaal,” were launched at Nirma University, Ahmedabad. The event, attended by over 500 students and faculty members, was honored by the presence of Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon'ble Union Minister of Railways, Electronics and IT, and Communication, Government of India.


“Amrit Kaal Odyssey” is a groundbreaking work authored and conceptualized by Rangam Trivedi and Vaidyanathan Iyer. The book showcases 100 key strides taken by India from 2014 to 2024, with the goal of achieving a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) by 2047. Each initiative is detailed in a succinct 150-word overview, accompanied by engaging illustrations that vividly capture their significance and impact.


Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, who penned the foreword for the book, praised the authors for their unique initiative. He highlighted how the book effectively captures the strides made by New India towards its development goals. During the launch, Trivedi discussed the challenges faced during the writing process, noting the frequent data updates as a testament to the dynamic and transformative nature of India’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.


The event featured a symbolic touch with the book being delivered to the stage via drone, representing technological advancement. Shri Vaishnaw’s informal interaction with students on India’s techade, railway transformation, and his journey added depth and inspiration to the occasion, making it a memorable and enlightening experience for all attendees
