Initiatives in RSS

Rashtrapurush Float
Sardar Patel Sayam Shakha of RSS Akota Nagar in Vadodara participated in shobhayatra on the occasion of Swami Vivekanand Shardhshati Samaroh with Rashtrapurush float by the bal & tarun swayamsewaks of the shakha led by Rangam Trivedi as the shakha karyawah in the year 2013. The float displayed great Bharatiya personalities and their nationalistic thoughts. It was the only RSS shakha to present a float in the shobhayatra.
Swami Vivekanand Human Chain
The bal & tarun swayamsewaks led by Rangam Trivedi, the shakha karyawah of Sardar Patel Sayam Shakha in RSS Akota Nagar, Vadodara organised a human chain to mark the completion of Swami Vivekanand Shardhshati Samaroh in the year 2013. 76 swayamsevaks participated and more than 180 residents of Diwalipura area including youngsters, teenagers, women & dignitaries including the then RSS Gujarat Prant Mahavidyalayan Pramukh Shri Bhargav Bhatt were present on the occasion. It was the only RSS shakha in Gujarat to take up organise this human chain at shakha level at such a good numbers
Uttarakhand Floods Relief Fund Collection
Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh took up an initiative for the relief operations in Uttarakhand floods  in 2013 of which one of the part was relief fund collection. Rangam along with his shakha toli extensively participated in the fund collection and gathered more than 56000 rupees from residential societies, shopkeepers, public servants as well as people on traffic signals in a large number. It was the highest amount of relief fund collected by any particular shakha in Vadodara.
Shakha Varshik Utsav
Sardar Patel Sayam Shakha in Diwalipura, Vadodara organised its annual function in February 2014. Various formations in 'Samata' (parade), 'Niyuddh' (self defence), 'Dand', 'Yoga' & Suryanamaskar were performed. Sanghik Geet, 'Ho Jao Taiyaar Sathiyo' energised the gathering. More than 240 people majorly the families living around shakha area attended the annual function with their children. On this occasion shakha also launched its monthly magazine consisting short articles by its bal & tarun swayamsewaks on various nationalistic topics under the guidance of a senior swayamsewak Shri Nitin Deodhar. This shakha varshik utsav was applauded across the state in RSS circles.
Keral Flood Relief Fund Collection
Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh took up an initiative to gather relief funds for the affected areas in Kerala flood relief in the year 2018. Rangam led the relief find collection drive on major traffic signal of western zone in Vadodara and collected a large sum of money for the relief fund with the help of people along with other swayamsewaks.
Paper Bag Distribution 
Rangam Trivedi as Ataladara Nagar Mahavidyalayan Pramukh took an initiative to distribute paper bags in vegetable market to reduce the use of single use plastic bags in 2015. They distributed 2000 paper bags to buyers as well as vendors. This initiative was taken up when distribution of paper bags to reduce the use of single use plastic bags  was not very much common. This initiative witnessed positive results among vendors as well as buyers.
Bharatmta Pujan
Rangam Trivedi as Ataladara Nagar Mahavidyalayan Pramukh took an initiative to organise Bharatmata Pujan in every vasti (1 pujan/10000 people) in his nagar. Under which he along with other swaymsewaks successfully organised Bharatmata pujan in all 9 vastis of his area and involved more than 3100 people in pujan from housing societies, tution classes as well as public gardens. He involved a new team of 10-12 youngsters for every program who later on started RSS saptahik milan at respective places.
RSS Shakha in Tandalja, Vadodara
RSS Vadodara Mahanagar took an initiative to initiate RSS shakha/saptahik milan in the areas where RSS shakha has never been there. Rangam as the nagar sharirik pramukh was given the responsibility of Tandalja vasti which is a muslim dominated area, where only around 30 Hindu families reside. He took up the challenge and met all 30 families and inspired them to join RSS shakha. Due to his efforts under the guidance of Vibhag Sah Karyawah Shri Mansukh Patel, a shakha was started in Tandalja and around 40 new swayamsevaks joined RSS dussehra sanchalan in purna ganavesh in the year 2018.
Valay Dand Spardha 
As nagar sharirik pramukh, Rangam organised a valay dand competition in which 34 teams (340 players participated) from Sun Pharma road, Tandalja, Ataladara, kalali and Bill areas of Vadodara.
Voting Awareness Drive
Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh took an initiative to make people aware about doing 100% voting in national interest in 2014 & 2019 Loksabha election. Rangam along led this awareness drive in Akota VIdhansabha Constituency area. Swayamsevaks reached out to voters door to door with pamphlets. Rangam himself visited around nearly 1100 houses in 2014 and around 2500 people in 2019 election for voting awareness.
